Spring is coming, really!

Seed Starting in Upstate NY

We’re so excited about our move to Woven Meadows after a year at Josh’s family farm in Northern Vermont. In anticipation of our move we’ve started our early seedlings (onions, celeriac, and asters) and we’re so excited about the new chicks arriving in Mid-April to add to our existing flock.
Between now and then we have so many things to do to make this move a success, just like the tiny seedlings have so much growing to do in such a short amount of time.

The move is scheduled for later this week and we’ll be stripping wall paper, painting, deciding on where to house our chickens at the new farm, and what to do with the four pigs we have that are ready for processing.

So much change coming and we can’t wait to continue on our farming journey while working and learning with a new community of friends.

What is on your to-do list this spring (farm-related, or not)?
